"In 2019 I was given the opportunity to write music for the most popular cartoon series in the world: Spongebob Squarepants. I didn't take this task lightly. Over the last 20 years, the composers on Spongebob have written some of my favorite music in modern animation. I wanted to be respectful of that important musical legacy while still bringing a bit of myself to this modern day classic. It was a tremendous honor to compose music for the last episodes that Stephen Hillenberg oversaw before his passing." -Ego Plum
